Camille Wynn is an assistant professor in the Speech and Hearing Sciences Department at Utah State University. Dr. Wynn earned her PhD at USU. She then joined the faculty at the University of Houston before returning to USU to continue her academic career. Dr. Wynn's research focuses on one of the things she loves most in life: using conversation to develop meaningful connections with others.
Gerri is a prospective graduate student in speech-language pathology. She earned her BA in Cognitive Sciences and Linguistics from Rice University. During her undergrad, she volunteered as a research assistant for the Schnur Cognition and Neuroscience Lab at UTHealth where she gained experience analyzing speech and conversational data from right hemisphere stroke patients. Before enrolling in graduate school, Gerri is currently serving as an Education Interventionist with AmeriCorps for underserved Houston communities. Her research interests include cognitive communication and the perceptual correlates of prosody.
Ali is a graduate student in the speech-language pathology program at Utah State University. She completed her bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders at Brigham Young University, where she gained experience researching the prosody and acoustics of both people with aphasia and autistic individuals. In her free time, she enjoys trying new restaurants, paddle boarding, thrifting, and anything her friends are doing.
Megan is an undergraduate studying Communicative Disorders at Utah State University. She enjoys working with both adolescents and adults and loves gaining research experience. After she graduates, Megan is planning on studying speech language pathology in graduate school.
Jocelyn is an undergraduate student studying communicative disorders and deaf education. Her research interests include caregiver responsiveness in early language development, as well as neurodevelopmental disorders and their effect on communication. Jocelyn plans to get a Master’s degree in speech-language pathology. She hopes to work as an early interventionist speech pathologist.
Kennedi is an undergraduate Speech and Hearing Sciences major at Utah State University with a growing passion for working with children and supporting bilingual learners. As a bilingual student herself, she is especially interested in research and clinical work that promote language development. In addition to her academic interests, Kennedi enjoys traveling, playing sports, spending time outdoors, and reading whenever she can. She plans to pursue graduate school in speech-language pathology and is excited to continue exploring the field through research and hands-on experience.
